These devices allow their users to present the subject of a presentation to a certain number of listeners in the best, most effective and efficient way.
Projectors are used for large scale display of computer or video signals. They are not the source of the signal, they have to be connected to a device – for example a PC, notebook, receiver, DVD player, digital camera, camcorder (camera systems Plzeň), and so on.
Data and video projectors
They serve to project from an output of a PC monitor or a laptop.
We distinguish following types
- Ultralight (up to 2 kg)
- Personal (up to 3 kg)
- Mobile (up to 10 kg)
- Conference (more than 10 kg)
- Overhead projectors
They are designed to project from transparent originals. Despite the fact that preparation of foils is relatively complicated, thanks to very easy handling and tradition, these projectors still retain their position in conference rooms.
Slide projectors
They are used to project slides. They are characterized by demanding preparation, but very easy handling.
Document camera (visualizer)
It is a device that servers to display non-transparent originals. A speaker is able to show to the audience an object (like a small component or exhibit, map, picture from a book or a concert ticket).
Projection screens
For one, there are screens reflecting incoming light in all directions with equal intensity – diffusion screens, also, there are screens with narrower reflective angles – reflective screens, which heighten the intensity of light reflection in a certain direction.
